Debra Thomas | Romanucci & Blandin
Attorney and CLE Manager
As a third-generation lawyer, Debra L. Thomas knew from a young age that she wanted to carry on the family tradition of studying law. She now has years of legal experience in the fields of criminal defense and civil litigation, along with being the continuing legal education (CLE) manager for Romanucci & Blandin.
Debra’s background as an educator and significant experience in CLE coordination with the Illinois State Bar Association (ISBA), serves invaluable as we continue to develop an in-house CLE program with the ultimate goal of becoming an accredited provider in 2016.
In addition to serving as an attorney for nearly 10 years handling criminal defense and civil litigation matters, Debra earned a master’s degree in elementary education from DePaul University. She has served as a substitute and temporary assigned teacher, filling in for teachers on leave, for Chicago Public Schools since 2010.
Debra continues to follow her passions of law and education to help support the city of Chicago.
